2004-08-03 - 12:53 a.m. I requested in an entry that I made earlier today, for my readers to give me three questions about ANYTHING for me to answer. Here are today's submissions. If you would like to ask me three questions, feel free to do so in the comments section at the bottom of this page, and I will answer then tomorrow evening! Let's get started! :) From Star*Kiosh (Via Yahoo IM): 1: If you found a magic lamp, what would be the 3 wishes you would ask for? 1. I'd ask for good health. 2. I'd ask for enough money to live comfortably. 3. I'd ask for nobody ever to have to go hungry. 2: What is the most important lesson you have learned up to this point? That friendship is something to be cherished, that trust is hard to come by, that love is hard work, and that work is hard work. 3: Who is Jamie? I am a person that is here to heal. I love to make people laugh, I like to be there for people when they cry. I like to touch lives, and be touched. I am complex, I am picky, I am imperfect, and I am pushy. But I am here. Thanks, Josh! ***** From bindyree: 1. You have a Big Red Button that can make a sweeping global change. What do you change, and why? I would eradicate hatred, and implement tolerance as a requirement for all. 2. If you could eat dinner with any celebrity or celebrities, who would you choose, and what would you make for dinner? I would invite Madonna, Andy Bell (the REAL one), Ellen DeGeneres, and k.d. Lang. I would make a wonderful vegetarian meal of baked risotto with asparagus and spinach, eggplant parmesan, a black bean mexican salad and fresh brewed ice tea with lemon to drink. For dessert, I would prepare a bread pudding with raisins and a sweet cream sauce. 3. What do you see yourself doing five years from now? After winning the lottery? Shopping with my best friend who I've finally MET! :-) Thanks, Brin! ***** From onewetleg: 1. Where is the mate to my flip-flop? It's tucked away in a box in the bedroom closet under the porn, dear. 2. how come peanut butter tastes good and pickles taste good, but they don't make a very good sandwich together unless you add green onion potato chips? Well, it's like the double-negative rule. You add another negative to make a sentence positive. It's much the same for sandwich technology. Two items with high sodium content is a poor combination, so you have to add a third [the chips] to make it a good combo! I thought everyone knew that! 3. Why don't regular phones have a back space button? Because the phone manufacturers want to see how many people accidently dial '912' in an emergency. Thanks, jj!!! ***** Oh. Before I go, I would like to share a photo that my friend Maria snapped of Nelson, Mumford and myself after we ate dinner. I think it is the first photograph of Nelson and I that anyone has taken. Ever.
Thanks again for the great questions! Anyone else? Have a great night! Jamie
